History

The Holloway Race Team was started in 1997 by Brent Holloway with the purchase of a 600cc Mini-Sprint. Brent raced at Welch Memorial Speedway, Connell, Washington in 1997 and 1998. He won the 1998 Track Championship for the 600cc class.

At the end of the 1998 season his brothers, Sherman and Clennon, joined him by purchasing his 600 Mini-Sprint. Brent then purchased a 1995 Bailey 1100cc Mini Sprint.

Sherman and Clennon raced at Spokane Motorsports Complex and Welch Memorial Speedway during the 1999 race season. They won the 1999 Season Points Championship for the Inland Empire Min-Sprint Association.

Brent spent the 1999 season preparing his car for the 2000 racing season. A 30' enclosed Pace race trailer was also purchased for the race team.
